Cancellation Policy

The Wolkberg Trail Run: Official cancellation and refund policy.

Participant Change

The runners with a confirmed and paid for entry can be changed by completing the following steps before the 25 July 2023:

  • The runner dropping out of the race must do so by contacting
  • The following fees apply to the change of runner/participant: R50 per runner/participant change

Please note that optional extras are NOT automatically transferred to the new runner/participant.


Refunds will only be given for a relevant medical issue and a medical certificate must be supplied.  

If a refund is approved by the organisers the following terms, conditions and charges will apply:

  • Before 6 July 2023, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total entry fee will apply.
  • After 6 July 2023 no cancellations will be accepted.

Event Changes & Cancellations

If the event, or any part thereof, is cancelled, postponed, shortened, or modified in any way, or if any of the amenities, goods, or services in relation to the event are no longer provided, whether due to force majeure, legal restrictions, disputes, safety reasons, failure by service providers to perform, or any other reason or cause, the entry fees and all other fees paid will not be refundable.
